Osage County IInteragency Coordination Council

The Osage County Interagency Coordination Council is composed of a diverse group of area professionals and service providers. Meetings are held monthly to exchange ideas and share information about resources available to Osage County. Planning groups and partnerships are formed to address specific needs and projects which seek to fulfill the Council’s mission statement:

“ Working together, providing and improving resources and services to enhance the well-being for individuals and families in Osage county.”

The Council has:
· sponsored Parent Universities and Health Fairs
· published a local resource directory
· established a Breast Cancer Coalition bringing mammography screenings services to the county
· written and received several grants to address substance abuse prevention
· provided community trainings in developmental assets
